November Training
Schedule will be released soon

Holiday Break
Nov 21 - Jan 8

End of Season Information

It's hard to believe!  We are almost to the end of Fall season! Your team is scheduled for training sessions through Oct. 24th. Some teams finish games earlier and some a week or so later, but the club provides team trainings through that day.

What Happens Next?

Circumstances are unique this year, and our normal training plans will look a little different in order to adapt. The club will take a week-long break, from Oct 26th – Nov 1 to re-group and recharge at the end of the season. Then, during the month of November, age-group trainings will be offered outside with our excellent training staff. These will be conducted in a more camp-like environment, taking advantage of the dry ground while we still have it. A schedule for this will be available soon.

Additionally, most trainers can be hired to conduct private sessions for individuals or small groups during the off-season at the parents/players expense (contact the trainer directly).

The club will then take time off from November 21st - January 8th for the holidays.

Team Adjustments

In November, when the transfer window reopens, administration will consider changes to some rosters and teams in order to maximize every player’s growth experience. This will be assessed through age-group meetings with the coaching staffs, where appropriate options will be explored.

Winter Training

Your input on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Please complete the available survey (https://forms.gle/83bNLdmsNb8U1hai7 ) so we can gauge membership thoughts on indoor training. Expectation is that winter training will resume the week of January 11th for most teams, though the younger ages may not resume until the beginning of February. We are working with Wasatch Rec Center to formulate training protocols that are safe for our players and coaches. We will likely be able to offer one training session a week in the Rec Center for each team and one outdoor session for age groups on a local turf field. Details to come on that as survey results come in and protocols are ironed out.

Futsal

Wasatch High School Boys team will again be sponsoring an indoor futsal league at Timpanogos Middle School beginning on Jan 5th. Some teams may choose to participate in this. Contact your
coaches if you are interested.

Winter Tournaments

These are always optional, but fun, and will be decided on a team-to-team basis. Contact your coaches if you are interested.

Congrats on completing the fall season in a unique and challenging year! We feel very fortunate that soccer has been able to go on here when so many other areas are shut down. Club leadership continues to focus on ironing out details of the unification process, dealing with COVID adjustments, and working to provide the very best soccer experience for all its members. Thank you for your time and effort these past few months, and your support for the club!
